The mission of Baria Mitra Mandal of Chicago is to honor and preserve our shared heritage. Through vibrant festivals and community events, we celebrate our unique culture and ensure its traditions are passed down to inspire the next generation.

ABOUT DEVGADH BARIA

Devgadh Baria, often known as Devgadbaria or just Baria, is a municipality in Dahod district in the state of Gujarat, India. It is a small town nestled in the foothills on Gujarat State's eastern edge. It was established in 1782. Devgadh is the name of the mountain that is surrounding the town and Baria is the name of local tribe. The state was ruled by Chauhan kings until it merger with the Union of India. The present ruler of the princely state of Baria is H.H. Maharawal Tusharsinhji Kanaksinhji.
